Welcome to Dudes Who Care, Incorporated's Official Website!
We are a non-profit 501(c)3 charity organization located outside of Philadelphia in Montgomery County, PA who are committed to helping those in our community who are in need. We partner with local charities such as Martha's Choice Marketplace to distribute the food and money raised to those in need. In order to raise money and collect food for those less fortunate around Thanksgiving and other holidays, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses. We have been a growing community since 2016 and hope to continue expanding our family of donors as we work to help those in need.
2024 Thanksgiving Drive Now Open
Every year we are continuously amazed by the generosity of friends, colleagues, families, businesses and members of the community.
This year, the need in our community is the greatest the food pantry has experienced, surpassing that even seen during the recent pandemic. Rising consumer costs and living expenses have forced many to make the tough choices resulting in the rationing or limiting of food.
DONATION INFORMATION
A donation of $50 will allow us to provide 1 meal for an average family of 5!
Consequently, for 2024 we hope to help meet this need once again and surpass last year's achievements by providing at least 500 Turkey dinners. It is only through the generous donations received and the volunteering of our members and fellow Dudes that we are able to help those who may not be as fortunate as many of us this season.
As a reminder, we are a registered 501c3 charitable organization, and thus any donations are tax-deductible.
2022 Annual Thanksgiving Drive
In 2022,. COVID-19's effects still remain unequivocally visible in our Montgomery County community. Individuals suffer today directly and indirectly, through illness, food insecurity, mental health issues, unemployment, in addition to myriad other complications. Martha's Choice Marketplace this year had come to rely on DWC for over half of their food supply. 2022 was our most crucial to date. Inflation and rising prices of Thanksgiving meals meant that Dudes Who Care had to provide a greater portion of food for those in need. The DWC community, comprised of local and national businesses as well as individual donors, share a common value of generosity. Recognized the urgent need to our community, DWC delivered over 350 full Thanksgiving turkey dinners! (about 3 tons worth!), in addition to an excess of canned goods.
Holy Cross Regional Catholic School generously donated a majority of our canned good collection this 2022 Thanksgiving.

The Dudes Who Care
The Dudes Who Care dedicate their time and efforts to assisting our local community. From our humble beginnings in 2016, DWC has expanded greatly, holding multiple donation drives throughout the years, such as our summer toiletries drive to our most demanded annual Thanksgiving drives, where our donation counts grow exponentially every year! Join our community below!
Stanley “Stas” Karwoski, a Dude Who Cared
Stas was a valued member of the Dude Community who unexpectedly passed away in the summer of 2022. Stas exemplified the values of a Dude as every year he assisted in DWC functions and was a good friend to all. We will always remember his contributions to the Dude family.
2021 Annual Thanksgiving Drive
In 2021, as the COVID pandemic still endured and individuals of our community suffered both direct (illness, mental health, limited supplies, etc…) and indirect (job insecurity, education and family strain, disruption of nutrition services, etc…) effects of the pandemic, there was greater need for support. Martha’s Choice Marketplace relied on DWC as their largest donators. Once again, we were humbled and amazed by the outpouring of support we received. As a result of the generosity of this years donors, Dudes Who Care, Incorporated was able to deliver 325 Turkey dinners (over 2.5 tons worth!) and an excess of canned goods, fresh produce, pies, rolls and other miscellaneous goods to provide for a complete holiday meal. We were only able to do this because of the support we received! Thank you and we wish everyone a Happy and Healthy Holiday Season!
In November 2021, Dudes Who Care was featured in Upper Providence Living Magazine, edition November 2021. Read our article for more information to the creation of DWC and our impact on our local community!
2020 Annual Thanksgiving Drive
Our charity is ever growing from a small idea in 2016 to a charity which generously donated over 220 full turkey dinners to the needy in 2019.
